I know you all know this game, where you try to link any actor with Kevin Bacon in six links or less by naming movies or TV shows that particular performer appeared in that connect with some other actor who worked with Bacon in something else. For instance, I can actually link myself in two links. I worked as an extra in a PBS miniseries called Roanoke. Will Sampson also appeared in Roanake. Will Sampson was in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest with Jack Nicholson, who was in A Few Good Men with Keven Bacon. Simple, huh? Well, I have been able to link even silent film stars with Kevin Bacon, so I thought we could do this with a sci fi twist. Whoever gets the fewest links in, say, 24 hours, can post the next celebrity. BTW, using IMDB is cheating. Rely onj your own knowledge of TV and movies. You are on your honor. I will make this easy and start with William Shatner.

You were an extra on a PBS series? Definite cool points there

It was a minseries, for the (I think) American Story serese back in the mid eighties. It starred Victor Garber (Alias), Will Sampson, Joseph Runningofx and Patrick Kilpatrick (The Toxic Avenger). I got to hang with Victor, Joseph, and Patrick a lot. Movie sets are a lot of "wait, wait, eat something, wait some more, eat some more, wait, go home." I worked on set for 15 days and actually only filmed four of those. It filmed mostly near Charleston, SC in 1986.
I also worked on this series as a production assistant, mainly constructing sets:

That was cool, because I got to work with Michael Forrest who appeared in "Who Mourns for Adonis" on Star Trek TOS. Which I just realized gives me a one link connection to William Shatner, as I DID appear in 3 episodes of The Catlins when an extra didn;t show up for filming and I played a prison guard. The weird thing here is that I looked at Michael's IMDB page, and it does not list Star Trek in his credits. How weird is that? He has a ton of genre credits listed in shows like The Avengers, UFO, Doomwatch, The Saint, and Danger Man.
